The present study was conducted on 18 confirmed CTVT cases in dogs which were randomly placed into following 3 groups comprising of 6 animals each to administer therapeutic protocols viz. Inj. Vincristine sulphate @ 0.025 mg/kg B.wt. intravenously with normal saline at weekly intervals (Group I) , inj. Doxorubicin @ 1 mg/kg B.wt. intravenously with normal saline at weekly intervals (Group II) and inj. Methotrexate @ 0.3 mg/kg B. wt. intravenously with normal saline at weekly intervals (Group III). Therapeutic efficacy of canine transmissible venereal tumour was adjudged by extent of regression of tumour mass. Maximum reduction (99.23%) was observed in vincristine sulphate treatment group at all the treatment time intervals. The reduction in the size of tumour mass was also effectively recorded at different time intervals in doxorubicin (65.92%) treatment group. The least regression (42.26%) of tumour mass was observed in methotrexate treatment group.
